Skyrim. We've all heard of it. We've all probably played it. But in VR? It's the same game, and maybe it's rough around the edges, but with a few essential mods, it turns into the best experience I've had with the game in 11 years since it was first released.

It's Skyrim, but it needs a lot of modding to make it actually worth playing. Just get it, you know you're going to eventually.

I've been playing traditional Skyrim for years. The game is nearly perfect if you like fantasy RPGs. I've only played a few minutes of the VR version of the game, but it's pretty magical despite making me motion sick and having very jagged lines on the models. Being able to reach out and touch a world I've loved for years is awesome, and the game play is surprisingly intuitive and enjoyable.

The VR version is much more immersive and addicting than playing it on a PC or Xbox.

The VR version is much more addicting and much more surreal than playing it on a PC or Xbox. It's immersive as a VR game and I feel like I'm really there. I have played it on my VR headset for about 15 hours so far since I finally found time to play it and that was 15 straight hours, my wife actually had to tap me on the shoulder and tell me how long I've been playing. You lose track of time easily while playing so be careful.

I've got Oldrim, SE, xbox360 version and switch version. Add this to my list. It's regular old Skyrim but in VR, so obviously it's going to be a 5 star rating. Some people aren't the biggest fan of the basic VR version and suggest mods to make it playable, but it's still great bare bones. With mods however, it IS so much better. I play on an Index so utilizing the finger tracking with mods was great. It's great to finally be able to use a bow and arrow how I always wanted. One of the reasons I got the switch version was because the commercial made it seem like I could pull the string back and shoot. You cannot. THIS however, you can. This was a well worth it purchase.

You can enjoy this world again with vr. The experience is great, but wearing the headset for long periods of time can be quite strenuous. Recommended!
