"Resident Evil 3 is a mostly superb remake of a horror classic with many clever spins on the formula and fluid, enthralling gameplay. I just wish there was more of it."

RESIDENT EVIL 3 Review

Staff Review
Building on the success of the Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 takes the original concept of the 1999 release into a new era with help from Capcom's fantastic RE Engine. The dreaded Nemesis has never felt more of a threat in this latest outing, he's hot on your trail throughout the game and will test your wits and nerve. Exploring the likes of Raccoon City and the General Hospital during these post-apocalyptic times is a zombie-fulled treat, just remember to take some Green and Red Herbs along for the ride!

Sandwich between masterpieces, but still good

Better than I thought it was going to be, but doesn't outshine RE2 or 1 (or the masterpiece of Ethans saga). Still a commendable game!

Resident evil 3 is literally my favorite restaurant evil game until this day. If you enjoyed playing RE2 remake then you'll definitely enjoy this one. Since it's like the 2nd one but with better Story and visuals.

Great remake of my beloved old game. RE engine does wonders, but since the game has been remade with modern controls and graphics, game overall feels shorter and isn't worth the price, but I assure you it's just the first impression. Capcom has done a great job and it's worth investing in to play this great game

As someone who has played a good amount of the resident evil franchise, I really like this game. I bought it after completing RE2 and feel like there is a good flow as the two games connect a little, something that isn't seen as clearly in the later games, definitely had fun with all the little jumpscares and love nemesis as the boss in this one.

This game may have received not so positive reviews for different reasons, but for me, it's a perfectly good game. Not as massive of a masterpiece as Resident Evil 2, but that's a very tough act to follow. Some things are actually improved or built on from the previous instalment, and the length of the game is perfectly fine. The replayability of it is what makes it even more fun. Unlocking items and weapons for upgrades makes the gameplay worth coming back to after you finish the story. And the voice acting in this one is exceptional, with smooth and stellar performances across the cast. Really enjoyed this one and will definitely play again at some point.

Lemme start this review by saying that I never grew up with the Resident Evil franchise. I came to it very late, like almost a whole year before Village was even released. With that in mind I decided to basically get all the games I could get my hands on and now I'm a proud owner of all the copies available on PC. Resi3 being the last one of all of them for me to buy. Graphically, this game is absolutely incredible. The neon signs, the lighting, the reflections (without RTX) make this game an absolute marvel to behold. At first, I almost couldn't even tell that the game actually took place in 1998, it all felt like it was the modern day. Gameplay wise, this game's much more fast paced than 2, 7 or 8, considering Jill's ability to dodge at the right time and shoot back John Wick style, or Carlos' ability to just deck enemies in the face with perfect timing. It feels like a speedrunner's paradise in most areas... But if you're not a speedrunner, I'm afraid the game's length is gonna disappoint you. My max run time was almost 7 hours. That might not sound too bad, but that was mostly because I spent likely an hour and a half trying to carry everything I could find to my safe box or solving a puzzle. For a normal player, this game might feel too short, but when you pay attention to the best things it does, it's a game you'd call Short and Sweet in that regard.
