Time is your friend
Resident Evil 3 introduced a dodge mechanic, where if done at the right time, it will slow enemies down and give you an edge; this adds a whole new layer to the combat. Master it to decimate all sorts of enemies — from the Hunters to the zombie dogs!
New mode
Aside from better graphics, you'll also find a whole new game mode to enjoy with friends! Resident Evil Resistance is a new 1v4 online multiplayer mode where four survivors face off against a sinister Mastermind! Play as both sides and see who can be who.

Playing it brought back some memories of my childhood when I played the first version of PS1, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is incredible.
It's a very good game, but it's too short, but that doesn't mean it's worth buying.

There's an achievement for beating the game in record time which should encourage repeated play but if you're not looking to speedrun or memorize this for streaming and just want to get a great REmake experience, you'll be done with it in no time. Outside of a couple of neat weapons and outfits, there's no incentive to try to beat your rank other than personal pride. It's very short which is a shame since the game is gorgeous and the characters are interesting and it would've been nicer to have more of it. RE2 and RE4 doesn't suffer from this as much.

Its a fun game. having played the original RE3 on the ps2 it was nice to revisit in a modern day experience. Sure not everything is 1:1 to the original but thats ok. i highly recommend this title if you enjoy classic horror and puzzles aswell well as diverse enemies and action.

WAY better than I had been led to believe. For fans of the original, AMAZING, for newcomers, you get a great game.
Consider everything NEW to the game amazing, the only faults I have with RE 3 remake are things present in the original being:
1. Terrible difficulty pacing/balance, you'll understand when you get to the Hunters.
2. Overall short game length. I did a completion with Jill, no guide or memory of the game, as a low-skill gamer, in about 6-7 hours, most people will probably only take 4-5 hours. For true fans there is a second character story that is slightly different and other modes and difficulties, so at any price you will get your money's worth but I recommend getting this one for a good sale, if you feel burned out after one playthrough you won't feel like you lost any money.

I bought this game on sale through Fanatical and it has become one of the latest and most exciting additions to my 800+ title long list of games that I think I will someday play in my Steam library.
