About RESIDENT EVIL 3

About this game

Developed and published by CAPCOM.

This remaster of Resident Evil 3 allows players —  both new and old — to experience the classic game, but with better graphics and an added mode!

Bigger and badder

Parasite-infected zombies, Drain Deimos, Hunters, and zombie dogs aren't the only thing you'll have to worry about in this entry, as Umbrella Corporation had an ace under their sleeve — the Nemesis! Help Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira — a U.B.C.S. mercenary — escape the hellish city!

Time is your friend

Resident Evil 3 introduced a dodge mechanic, where if done at the right time, it will slow enemies down and give you an edge; this adds a whole new layer to the combat. Master it to decimate all sorts of enemies — from the Hunters to the zombie dogs!

New mode

Aside from better graphics, you'll also find a whole new game mode to enjoy with friends! Resident Evil Resistance is a new 1v4 online multiplayer mode where four survivors face off against a sinister Mastermind! Play as both sides and see who can be who.

"Resident Evil 3 is a mostly superb remake of a horror classic with many clever spins on the formula and fluid, enthralling gameplay. I just wish there was more of it."

"Resident Evil 3’s remake might not be as surprising as REmake 2, but it is still a fun ride. If you loved the way REmake 2 used the survival horror formula, that same formula...

This is an extremely half-baked game that throws away almost all unique features of the original title in order to become a glorified Resident Evil 2 DLC. This game is NOTHING like the Resident Evil 2 remake. It is a below-average game on its own merits, and as a remake of one of the greatest games ever made, it is an abject failure. While I did enjoy some things in the last third of this game, unless you are a RE completionist, I don't think there's anything worthwhile here for the average player.

This would be first RE game I played so my impressions of this game are too subjective and good but there are things that all players should agree on. The concept of crafting and collecting things is great, I like how interface is designed. There is lot of action, different type of enemies and main boss Nemesis is amusing. Usually, I don't like it when enemy keep appearing all the time, bothering me and preventing me from enjoying the game, but Nemesis is legend. Moving to what could have been better. Game is a little too short. Maybe a few more parts and locations to go. And aiming before shooting. I come from FPS games where aiming isn't necessary to shoot, but here, you can't shoot unless you aim first. In situations where fast reactions and reflexes are crucial, I get scared and confused, causing me to lose time trying to remember to aim instead of just shooting and taking out the target. All in all, I recommend this game to all fans of horror or action, it is a great way to try something new and different.

Playing it brought back some memories of my childhood when I played the first version of PS1, the graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is incredible. It's a very good game, but it's too short, but that doesn't mean it's worth buying.

There's an achievement for beating the game in record time which should encourage repeated play but if you're not looking to speedrun or memorize this for streaming and just want to get a great REmake experience, you'll be done with it in no time. Outside of a couple of neat weapons and outfits, there's no incentive to try to beat your rank other than personal pride. It's very short which is a shame since the game is gorgeous and the characters are interesting and it would've been nicer to have more of it. RE2 and RE4 doesn't suffer from this as much.

Its a fun game. having played the original RE3 on the ps2 it was nice to revisit in a modern day experience. Sure not everything is 1:1 to the original but thats ok. i highly recommend this title if you enjoy classic horror and puzzles aswell well as diverse enemies and action.
