Same skyrim - still with its buggs.

Skyrim is awesome! and that still stands with this version. Nothing changed. Thats its biggest flaw. Creationclubmods are very minor and you dont notice them at all. Nexus mods dont work anymore and skyui isnt uncluded. THIS is a cheap moneygrab. THey didnt even bother fixing any buggs. Not even small ones.

Two caveats: this upgrade is recommend if and only if you either never played Skyrim before or you haven't played it in a long time (I personally fall under the latter). It's still Skyrim but now with "curated" mods that have been nicely implemented together (i.e. playing nicely with each other). It breathes new life into Skyrim with new mobs, quests and loot.

Middling content that is not worth the asking price. Wait for a steep discount if you are curious.

On sale it is a $10 mod pack that integrates pretty well into the vanilla game. It's a large DLC's worth of content sprinkled throughout skyrim and the little adventures you can find in random places brings a lot of life to a game we have all explored many times. I've enjoyed finding niche little adventures ending in a badass looking weapon, or stumbling upon an old tower and making it my player home, or other wacky and odd adventures.

If you've never played Skyrim it's worth it, otherwise just basically a requirement for a good amount of mods and not worth the price. Wait for a sale.

All I can really say is if you can get this on sale and love Skyrim and just want more stuff to do in Skyrim the upgrade is a nice addition. There are mods that you can use to downgrade the game back if you still want to use mods that have never been updated for Anniversary Edition. So you can still experience all the new Creation Club content without sacrificing what you already enjoy. Most of the CC content is fine and overall high quality. Might have some qualms with the way it is implemented in just auto-starting quests at startup. But like everything...there are mods that fix that. Only experienced one big issue with one of the housing mods and terrain not really interacting correctly. But that is also fixed by mods.

Honestly I regret buying it reason well I didn't really use dlc from creation club. The only reason I brought it was because of mods and I still regret it not bad for 15 and maybe the survival dlc but alas it's up to you.
