The Forgotten City is a mystery adventure game centred around exploration, deduction, and smart choices. With your power to rewind time, you'll go back 2000 years and try to unravel the mystery of who destroyed the ancient underground city.
Be Whoever You Want
Choose your character's gender, origin, and backstory before heading into the mysteries of the ancient Roman City. Aside from your narrative, you'll be able to control how you react before intense moral dilemmas that will have life-and-death consequences. Be careful before you act! After all, the fate of the entire city is in your hands.
Questions Not Fists
Throughout your playthrough, you'll interrogate many colourful characters, each with their own personality and life. Whilst combat and violence is an options, they will only get you so far; use your head, and work smart, not hard.
Not the Only Way
Thankfully, fists and questions aren't the only way you can go about your business in The Forgotten City: reason, charm, bribe, and intimidate your way through the playthrough! And that's if you can't just learn to exploit the time loop.

Aside from getting to know the cast of characters, finding the multiple endings, and walking around the beautiful open world, you'll also spend a ton of time solving puzzles and challenges that will keep your mind engaged!

Despite the great reviews, I did not find The Forgotten City to be very good. No aspect of the game is terrible, but likewise, no aspect is great. It largely fails as an "adventure" game because the objectives or always too simple to require much thought, and usually have quest markers. But, staying true to its roots as a Skyrim mod, the game also forces you into the occasional mediocre dungeon delve, with only 1 weapon and 1 enemy type for the entire game. The story does little to redeem the overall experience as well.
I don't recommend this game for anything more than $10. It took me 6 relatively boring hours to achieve all endings.

A time loop game focusing on dialogue, taking place in an ancient Roman city where, if a single crime is committed, an unknown god will kill all the inhabitants. Your task is to discover which god could inflict such a curse on the city and discussing ethics, philosophy and morals with the inhabitants. Quite a bit of research went into the historical accuracy of the customs of the time. Recommended!

Missions are quite scripted, Run from A to B. But you can hang around, as much u like!
