About The Walking Dead: The Final Season
About this game
Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping and emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.
Emotional, Gut-Wrenching Story - See Clementine’s journey through to the end. As she builds a new life, you will have to grapple with new types of choices and live with the consequences as AJ looks on, learning from your every move.
More Control, More Tension - A new over-the-shoulder camera system, greater freedom to explore detailed environments, and scenes of unscripted combat capture the fear of living in a world overrun by the undead. All this creates the most engaging The Walking Dead game yet.
Striking New Visual Style - The all-new Graphic Black art style rips the ink from the pages of the Eisner Award-winning comic book series and brings the world of The Walking Dead to life like never before.

This game is a piece of art. It's the best way to conclude Clementine's story. To put it simply as a whole a MASTERPIECE. But still I'm heartbroken to the fact that studio went bankrupt after that. It didn't deserve it.

I still remember when season 1 of this came out way back when. This is the final chapter for it, and tbh it closes off everything as it should. (which is about time since the tv series is REALLLLLY dragging out). Overall, if you liked the others you'll like this one.

Alas, this is the final game in the series, and Clem got the ending that she deserved.

”Goodnight, sleep tight, don’t let a walker bite. And if they try? BANG!”
Oh boy, this is going to be a tough one. Let me start by saying that I love this game so much. Hands down the best game I’ve played this year and definitely one my favorites. This is the final season of this incredible series and a worthy conclusion to Clementine’s story. I smiled, I laughed and I cried (a lot).
Pros:
- Phenomenal story.
- Remarkable characters.
- Your choices matter more than ever.
- Visually impressive, more focus on the comic artstyle.
- Camera movement added, more freedom in exploration.
- Hidden collectables and more achievements.
- Great soundtrack.
- A satisfying ending to the series.
Cons:
- Minor issues in the story and gameplay.
You play as Clementine, almost four years after the events of TWD: A New Frontier, and you are now wondering around this apocalyptic world trying to find food and shelter with AJ, the newborn child that is with her since TWD:S2, and both of them are now all grown up. One day, you are saved from walkers by a group of kids from a nearby school, which becomes your home soon after. During your stay, you found out that you and your friends are in danger, so you will do whatever it takes to protect your new home, while teaching AJ the life lessons that you learned from previous seasons.
At the start of the first episode, a video summary is played that features the important events and choices that you made in the previous seasons (which you can change if you want). In addition, I like what they did with the “previously on TWD” intros when you start an episode; instead of reintroducing you clips of the important moments/choices that you made in previous episode(s), they are now presented as a comic book narrated by Clem. All episodes start with a beautiful opening credits aswell.
All the characters in the game are outstanding, even the main villains. You will meet new characters, such as the kids and teens from the school, and you will see a few familiar faces along the way (and from the TWD: 400 Days DLC, if you pay close attention). All of the characters have different personalities and traits, and they are very fleshed out due to the excellent voice-acting and well-written dialogue.
Your choices are more difficult now and have visible consequences in the game’s narrative. At the end of each episode, it shows you your choices, relationship and/or mental state of AJ and other important side characters. I am happy that some of the...
