Great little combat sim for Steam Deck

Keeper of Chaos
Verified purchase
Surprisingly a very addictive little battle sim. No micro required but definitely some strategy to implement between unit types, deployment and more. And sooo satisfying to unleash a salvo of rockets on the enemy.. explosions! Devs did a great job with some of the details too, like checking out unit bios and details shows the love that went into making it. Like most say, this could be pretty cool as a multiplayer but just as good without it

Fun War game

Base attack and defense game. You attack the enemy base with your troops again an enemy base. You then get to pick the next area of attack. You purchase troops, gear, upgrades after each battle. Some battle are harder but you get better rewards. Fun game.

its kinda like 2d lane command and conquer. I would recomment for a low price but no more then 1-2€. The Computer Enemy feels like he is cheating because he gets free turrets at the beginning. Great concept and visuals but BAD implementation / "Gameplay".

I love tug of war games, some of my best memories were playing custom maps on Warcraft and StarCraft like Starjeweled, Nexus Wars, EVOLVES, and others. It’s with this in mind that I’m surprised that I didn’t enjoy this game more. It’s a rogue-lite kind of game with some harsh limitations on how you can play. Units are used up in battle and have to be found again by complete luck. You’re incentivized to go in with as few units as possible or risk being annihilated in a harder battle later on. Battles are designed to be prolonged needlessly to milk XP. The arms dealer has a limited selection and you have little purchasing power. The upgrade system is basic and unsatisfying, to say the least. But even still there’s some fun to be had here, if just to distract you for awhile. I was just hoping for more.

You like to use strategy, but not think to much about the strategy, but still feel like you used your brain! Then this the game for you. A great time waster that has still some strategy elements in it! Recommended if you enjoy tower defense style games.
