World, Meet Rajendra Chola
Son of Thanjai, as clichéd as it sounds, is an experience in itself. It’s a game about power, duty, and legacy set in one of the most extraordinary (and overlooked) periods in history: the Chola dynasty.
You play as a young king Rajendra Chola, caught between duty and destiny. You’ll be navigating a world filled with political intrigue, all while shouldering the burden of legacy.
At its heart, Son of Thanjai is an action-adventure experience built around the elegance and lethality of the Surulvaal. It’s a flexible, whip-like sword rooted in the South Indian martial art - Kalari.
Reminiscent of Assassin's Creed, Son of Thanjai lets you slip into the shadows. Stealth mechanics give you the freedom to take out enemies with precision. Quiet takedowns, disguised infiltration, and methodical interrogation all come together to let you dismantle enemy strongholds without ever being seen, rewarding patience, planning, and precision.
