About Dishonored - Definitive Edition

About this game

Dishonoured Definitive Edition is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge, developed by Arkane Studios

As part of Dishonored Definitive Edition you get:

  • The Knife of Dunwall
  • The Brigmore Witches
  • Dunwall City Trials
  • Void Walker’s Arsenal

Remain, Hidden,

You are put into the shoes of Corvo Attano, bodyguard to Emily Kaldwin, the young Empress of Dunwall. When Emily is kidnapped and Corvo is framed for her mother's murder, he becomes a justice seeker, hellbent on bringing those responsible to justice.

Play It Your Way

With a flexible combat system, you can creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the game's numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Possessing rats and using them to swarm and devour your foes is just one gory option available to you – if that's not your style, there are many other ways to dispatch your enemies without resorting to violence.

Your Game, Your Rules

The choice is yours – will you be a ghost, unseen and unheard as you carry out your revenge? Or will you let your anger take hold, unleashing chaos on all those who stand in your way?

Edge Magazine

90 / 100
"It's a rare delight to play a game with such consistency of vision, its art design, level architecture, rulesets, storylines and writing all working in lockstep."

PC Gamer

92 / 100
"A gorgeous, complex and slick assassination sim, with fascinating systems to play with and huge open levels to explore."

Game Informer

Very much worth the time and money

A series worth playing

I have played this game a few times and I always keep coming back to it. I've also bought the follow up game to this on console and it is as fun to play as the original. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for an addicting story to play through. The mechanics are well thought out and the play to me seems seamless. Very enjoyable experience.

Well worth it

One of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while. I played this when it came out but never really appreciated the world or the gameplay. The 2 story expansions are incredible and in my opinion more engrossing than the main campaign.

An incredible and underrated stealth game. The game gives you enough tools and maps just the right size and complexity to give you freedom to approach each mission to suit your play style. Highly recommended.

A blast from the past and I do mean blast. This game came out right along the transition to next gen in consoles so slipped through a lot of cracks. Excellent world building and drips atmosphere. Blows most assassin's Creed games out of the water. Plays wonderfully on steam deck. MUST BUY!

A must play game for anybody

This game might be seen short but it is enough for you to go back and play the main game again since there is many ways to complete the missions and also multiple endings. The DLCs that follows, for me, were very captivating. You follow a character and start to develop conflicted feelings about them. If you like a decent story, not too long game, exploration and stealth or high chaos games then what are you waiting for! - purchase it!

Really fun game - the stealth feels good, and there's lots of options to play around with. Art style is a bit of a mixed bag, but environmentally it's a gorgeous game. The character models are a bit weird, but this is a stylistic choice versus a technical one, so up to you how you feel about it.
