About Dishonored - Definitive Edition

About this game

Dishonoured Definitive Edition is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge, developed by Arkane Studios

As part of Dishonored Definitive Edition you get:

  • The Knife of Dunwall
  • The Brigmore Witches
  • Dunwall City Trials
  • Void Walker’s Arsenal

Remain, Hidden,

You are put into the shoes of Corvo Attano, bodyguard to Emily Kaldwin, the young Empress of Dunwall. When Emily is kidnapped and Corvo is framed for her mother's murder, he becomes a justice seeker, hellbent on bringing those responsible to justice.

Play It Your Way

With a flexible combat system, you can creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the game's numerous supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Possessing rats and using them to swarm and devour your foes is just one gory option available to you – if that's not your style, there are many other ways to dispatch your enemies without resorting to violence.

Your Game, Your Rules

The choice is yours – will you be a ghost, unseen and unheard as you carry out your revenge? Or will you let your anger take hold, unleashing chaos on all those who stand in your way?

Incredible game. I actually prefer it over 2. And it runs like butter on the Steam Deck. You just can't go wrong with this essential

The game's performance is great. No problems. The game play is something you must experience. There's lots of ways to play, on a spectrum from ghost stealth to none survive assault. The combat requires timing and dodging to survive. The powers in the game are unique and useful for many different styles of play, but they are not necessary for a skilled player. Likewise with your gadget which can be used in tandem with your powers. Exploration is highly rewarding and useful for stealth players. The difficulty is around a high-medium to a low-hard for an action game. You will not be able to win everything by wildly swinging your sword. However combat isn't necessary which lowers the difficulty. The story is quite good. While it is set to certain required moments. The way you play the game(how you complete side quest and how murderous you are)actually changes the levels and character moments in the game. The graphics are quite good. They are highly stylized and look great. The game will hold up much longer than a super realistic game. The game is older and it's age shows a little when you look close at textures and models. Sounds are great and convey everything you need to hear. Each sound is layered well and nothing sounds out of place. However the music is not particularly standout. More to elevate certain moments rather than be a soundtrack to your mischief.

This game is another bethesda masterpiece. Controls, feel and feel of the game are exactly what u would suspect out of a bethesda game. I played this game on the steam deck (linux) and the game just works without any changes

A good game that I used to play quite a bit on console until I lost the disk copy I had. It's an intriguing game that has many systems from assassins creed but adds in unique skills and magic. All in all I'd say it's a solid game with a great story and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys assassins creed.
