The Hitman game for those who want a good plot and would like to see a more human side of 47.

A really underrated Hitman title that delivers a good linear story and some really good stealth mechanics, an enjoyable game all around, highly recommended. Played this game a couple of years ago on console (PS3) and I played the hell out of it. There are some upgrades from the previous game that are often overlooked (I will talk about this below). For example, guards will not straight up shoot you but they will ask you to leave and if you just walk around, you can hear the NPCs talk to each other and for some reason I really enjoyed this feature about the game. Now let's mention the new feature that can be good or bad depending on the individual playing. The disguise system has been changed in a way such that people that are dressed like you can see through your disguise. For example, let's say you dress up as a cook, you better not walk in front of another cook or else he/she will be triggered and call you out. I often see criticism from so-called 'hard-core' fans that its a terrible yada yada and from what I see, I think I know why they might have this opinion. Compared to the other Hitman games, this one is very focused on the story and less on what made Hitman a Hitman game, which is : killing a target as a professional assassin. In this one, you are pretty much on the run from the agency and follow 47 in this journey. Which means, there are a number of missions/locations thatdon't involve killing a ''target'' but involved performing either a specific task or just retrieval missions. This is really the game for you if you want to see a more human side to 47 and you like a good story. The game plays itself like a movie and sometimes you might just play a level just to relive this specific moment.

Hitman: Absolution challenges players to become the elite assassin they were born to be... virtually that is. With even more freedom to go about your killing ways, topped with the chance to custom build missions and share with friends, you'll have a blast as Agent 47.
