I really expected something better. The game is over scripted. This scripting steals great moments from you, like boss kills. Consistency in mechanics are dropped in favor of scripted cut scenes. I'd love to just be able to play the game, and not have the game play me.

I've played about 4 hours now. The game is actually not that far different from the Spiderman (2002) game, even though the remaster is a remaster of Marvel's Spiderman (2018). This actually isn't a bad thing, and the combat style is tricky depending on if you're good enough, or otherwise button mashing, if you're not capable. The scenery is spectacular. This Spiderman isn't a spiderman that shoots webs biologically, nor is he a reporter. Which, I found that the differences between the two games are purely racial steriotypical, and not even that Miles Morales is black. It's that there are two competing Spiderman, one of which is a normal black male, and the other is a boy genius, whose alter ego, and scientific world collide... Anyhow, the gameplay is fantastic, and would recommend playing either or both.

This is an amazing game. The graphic look so great and I love to play it. The swinging is so smooth, lots of times, it’s fun to just swing around. Combat feels amazing and it!s so fun to beat up bad guys. The story is good and fleshed out. You really get to know the characters. 10/10 would recommend.
