Get ready to explore a brand-new ecosystem in the award-winning, critically-acclaimed Monster Hunter: World with the highly-anticipated expansion, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne!

With this Master Edition Steam PC key, you'll pick up from the end of the storyline in Capcom's biggest selling game to date, and join forces with the Research Commission once again to explore the undiscovered new land of Hoarfrost Reach - the largest map in the game yet.

Following an unusual sighting of Legiana from the Ancient Forest, the team journeys across the waters to a new locale with a frigid climate covered in snow and ice. As pioneers, the group soon sets up a new base camp in Hoarfrost Reach called Seliana, which serves as a warm haven with resources to prepare them for the challenging quests that await.

BECOME A MASTER
Enter a new rank for Monster Hunter World with the Master Rank, opening the doors to challenging quests with even bigger rewards including new armor and weapon sets.

LEGENDARY BEASTS
Take on some of the toughest monsters ever to grace the Monster Hunter series, and fight a few familiar faces along the way including Rajang, Barioth, Glavenus, Zinogre and many more.

NEW LANDS TO EXPLORE

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is a masterclass when it comes to engagement, and hooking the player in a non-stop cycle of killing (or capturing) monsters, using their parts to craft better armor and weapons, just to go and kill (or capture) far stronger monsters. I had over 150 hours before I bought the game from Fanatical to play with my brother, who had just bought it, since a previous entry on the game hooked him as well. Now we're both in the endgame, I have over 200 hours, and no reason to stop. Even if I had one, I wouldn't want to. The fast paced combat, the challenge of facing a monster that can make your bones tremble just by looking at you (both figuratively, and slightly literally). Hell, they've got a monster that inflates itself like a balloon and starts flying; what more can you want!? But despite the name, Monster Hunter is more than just hunting monsters. It has some vast places to explore, gather materials, observe the fauna in its natural habitat. You can see a Great Jagras walk to its prey and eat it alive in one single gulp, and get fat in an instant. Another thing I really like is how you can see the monster in each armor piece you craft. You can look at any armor set and say "look! it's a Rathalos armor set!", and be right most of the time - to be fair, there's armor that isn't made out of monsters, and they look just as cool. Enough gushing, if you like open world games, fast-paced action RPG, and want an amazing gameplay loop that'll keep you wanting more for hours on end, be my guest, play Monster Hunter.

Staff Review
Now, THIS is what you call a DLC expansion! Monster Hunter World: Iceborne delivers a huge amount of content - from a gorgeous new locale to traverse through to over 30 monsters to fight. Aside from the main campaign, there are so many contracts you can take on to test your Hunter Rank and, of course, get the chance to unlock and craft new weapons and armor. If you own Monster Hunter: World and are undecided as to whether to get the DLC, I implore you to get it... you won't regret the decision. The Master Edition is perfect for newcomers wanting to experience MH: World right through to Iceborne, with a bunch of deluxe content thrown in for good measure.

Perfectly fine port of a console game that becomes a bit of a mess with mandatory multiplayer quests for progression (despite the multiplayer totally being dead), but mods are so deep and varied that there is just about nothing in the base experience you cannot edit to your satisfaction. Much slower and methodical than mh rise and so is very single player friendly (except for forced multiplayer quests).

This is a very good game, but the transaction with Fanatical is horrible. I recommend the purchase of this game, but not through fanatical.
