The nonograms are okay, but the visual novel part is flat, boring, and tedious with uninteresting one-dimensional characters that drags on and on. This, along with the lack of QoL features a picross game should have like locking the cursor to row / column when dragging, makes the game an annoying and sluggish experience overall. Wait for a big discount if you plan on getting it.

Do you like Picross and/or Visual Novels? If you said yes to either, I got a game for you. If you said yes to both, boy, do I have a game for you! (The puzzles are good! The story is decent, even if it misteps a bit on representation.)

This game is a series of nonogram / picross puzzles put together with a detective game. The detective portions are more of a VN than a mystery game, but the story is enjoyable enough. The nonograms could be harder.

A fantastic connection between a murder mystery game and Picross that I highly recommend.

Picross meets a murder mystery game? Sign me up! The puzzles are well-made, with a difficulty curve that keeps you engaged as the game progresses and plenty of bonus content that's unlocked automatically as the player solves puzzles. These can be missed if the player needs help with any of the main story puzzles, but they aren't counted towards 100%. Still, some relevant (if technically beyond what the story needs) story beats are locked behind these, which I feel might not be ideal. That said, the characters are all well-written, the main cast is charming, and even the perpetrators of the case and the overarching "villains" are fantastically done. Overall - a great game, and one I would recommend to anybody who enjoys this sort of puzzle!

The second half of the game was more challenging, but it was a lot of fun.

For picross/puzzle lovers it's an amazing game. I've never played anything similar before, but I must say that bow it's one of my favourites. I bought this game because of the detective theme, never espected to find this gem. Story is really great, sometimes you see it coming, sometimes you don't, but it keeps you entertained. For me, the strong point is the Picross. Gameplay is great, easy to follow, and the puzzles are very interesting, I was always eager to play more and more. Art is really nice too, as expected of a Visual Novel. After finishing it, I tried searching for similar games, but to be honest, no other Picross game has the quality of this one, Completely recommended for you, puzzle lovers. Hope they make another one in the future.
