Put on the aprons once again, call all of your friends, and go back into the kitchen — it's time to save the world again. The Onion Kingdom needs the help of heroic chefs once again to face a brand-new threat.

Out of the Frying Pan, And Into the Unbread Apocalypse

You've fought off the Ever Peckish threat, but now a new menace has risen into action in the Onion Kingdom with The Unbread — jump into the kitchen to stave off their hunger and ensure the safety of the kingdom once again.

Cooperate With Other Chefs… Or Don’t

A Feast For The Eyes

Feast your eyes on the brand-new overworld map filled with dozens of levels to explore and complete! Cook meals in restaurants on the ground, take to the skies, or even cook amidst the high sea to satisfy The Unbread! From sushi restaurants, magic schools, mines, and even alien planets, there are numerous environments to explore and interact with that are sure to keep the worlds fresh and exciting!

Delicacies Aplenty

Create local delicacies across the Onion Kingdom, including hamburgers, pizzas, sushi, and even cakes to cover all of the best foods across the kingdom!

Don’t Panic

Rule #1 of running a restaurant in the Onion Kingdom: never panic. You will face numerous threats, such as dynamically changing restaurants, moving platforms, and even teleporters that'll take your chefs away. Panicking will only make things worse, so make sure you remain calm at all times!

"One of the most fun and challenging local co-op games ever made, but the single-player experience is less thrilling, making the lack of online play disappointing."
80 / 100
"Overcooked has so much to offer for someone who loves playing games with their friends but, for those of you lone wolves, single player is a little bit of a drag."
85 / 100
"Overcooked is a real treat of a game, which also lends itself to extra DLC further down the line, as there are plenty of unexplored environments and recipes to master. It’s...

I was fine with this party game when it had restaurant environment, but then it went crazy with obstacles. I only had my partner to play with so it got hard very quickly.

Nice game for couch multiplayer. It is great to be able to play up to 4, but you have to be prepared get some foes among your closest friends/family :) Con: I was playing with my small kids and it got too hard very soon to unlock all the needed stars.

A Recommendation of the Overcooked Series

Overcooked is just such a fun and enjoyable coop / party game. I had many, many great evenings with many different people in this game. Be it real life friends, online friends, family members - I'd say you'll rarely find people with whom you won't have a joyful time here. You CAN play it solo and it is a nice challenge, but I found the only interest I had in doing that was the ambition to find out the best strategy possible for a certain level and beat it in a perfect way. However, trying the same thing in multiplayer together with people as ambitious as myself was always more fun and rewarding. So to conclude, I highly recommend any Overcooked game if you're searching for a local or online coop game to play with people you like to spend time with. There is one DLC for Overcooked 1 ("The Lost Morsel") which adds a small amount of additional levels, all of them had great concepts and designs, so imo certainly worth at least the quite cheap price in sales. You also might have stumbled upon the Overcooked All You Can Eat Edition, which contains EVERYTHING from the Overcooked series, Overcooked 1 & 2 + all DLCs (Overcooked 2 has three big expansions + a smaller one + a character pack). If you don't have any Overcooked game yet I think this complete package is very much worth it as it also comes with some nice to haves, a more modern and polished look and overall quality of life changes. If you think the price is a bit too high for trying out the series, Overcooked 1 is much cheaper of course, especially in sales. In this case, try the first one and if you like it, instead of getting Overcooked 2 together with all its DLCs, I'd recommend the All You Can Eat Edition. That's it, that's my Overcooked review. Have fun!
