Take Control of the Investigation Team

Take control of the Investigation Team of Persona 4 featuring characters such as Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kujikawa, Naoto Shirogane, and Teddie, the amicable Shadow-like entity, as they set out on a quest to investigate the P-1 Climax. Face off against Sho Minazuki, the alleged creator of the P-1 Climax and the P-1 Grand Prix, to save the world!

And Play as the Shadow Operatives

And play as the Shadow Operatives, a secret group formed by SEES members from Persona 3, featuring Aigis, Mitsuru Kirijo, Akihiko Sanada, Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori, Fuuka Yamagishi, Ken Amada, and Koromaru the dog, to fight Shadows!

A fun and easy to pick up fighting game. Great for anyone familiar with the Persona series. Unfortunately, it is currently unplayable online due to a lack of rollback netcode (however it has been announced that a rollback patch is coming soon). Probably advisable to wait until the online is fixed before buying, unless you really like Persona 4.

This is a great title from the X360/PS3 era of fighting games, and I am glad that it has finally been ported to modern platforms. Has a nice wrestling aesthetic and easy to pick up gameplay. The Persona 3 cast are given great redesigns, like Yukari being a Super Sentai-esque character. One problem is that I wish rollback netcode was there at the release instead of being implemented months later. In my opinion, it ruined the playerbase for this game, but I am glad that it is being included.

The game is genuinely fun and interesting, the system mechanics are something I have never seen in another fighting game. The persona system, shadow frenzy, awakening, persona displacement, even the simple button combos to do things such as furious action (A universal DP), Perform EX specials, and Evasive Action are all very fun to do. When this game gets rollback in a few weeks I’m definitely going to sink my teeth into it way harder.
