This game screams minimum viable product. The start of the game was amazingly well scripted, but soon as you're out of the intro it's all downhill.
Progressively worse pathing, difficulty scaling (both too hard and a joke randomly) and especially story work.
Voice work in both quantity and quality show this in spades. I heard some hilarious dialogue from my russian love team early on, and about 3 hours in rarely another word.
You can feel how little effort is put in once you've played long enough to make most returns difficult. I played it included on gamepass and didn't even recommend other friends play it there.

Simply fantastic. Often I found myself laughing out loud on the various jokes, puns and references that are basically present everywhere across the game even in nuance details like weapon descriptions, lore books and skill explanations, not to mention the hilarious conversations with both more and less important NPCs. There is a reason for the amazing reviews & RPG of the year titles - the game itself is truly fantastic, great atmosphere, old-school turn-based combat, various character building options.
Also if you played Wasteland 2 & liked it - do not hesitate, go for it!

I got this game to coop with my buddy, and out the gate this game has been a fantastic ride. The writing, characters, combat and voice acting are far better than I was expecting. I wasn't expecting the amount of impactful decisions I'd have to make and its making me look forward to my next playthrough.

pretty good. wasteland 2 was as we say in italy "nota so good!" but wastleand 3 is pretty good. it's like if they took the skeleton of WL2 and made it functional and not look disgusting. combat is still xcom-lite, and writing is still bevis tier but what can you do! writers don't grow on trees generally speaking.
anyway, as a functional product WL3 is a clear evolution of the previous game. it won't blow you away but if you liked the other you'll probably like this one. will say the OST is extremely good and years from now I'll forget every nuance of the story but I'll still be playing that soundtrack.
