About Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

About this game

Swing swords in Chivalry Medieval Warfare from Torn Banner Studios.

Immersive Gameplay

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare offers a realistic first-person slasher experience with an emphasis on multiplayer mode. Drawing inspiration from the fervour and grandeur of iconic sword fighting films like 300, Gladiator, and Braveheart, it successfully brings the thrill of medieval combat to the gaming world. Unlike conventional FPS games that arm players with guns and grenades, this game equips them with traditional medieval weaponry and implements, adding to the authenticity of the battlefield experience.

Extensive Features

At the heart of the game is a deep melee combat system that facilitates a wide array of combat options, enabling real-time adjustments to attacks and blocks. Apart from a broad spectrum of about 60 brutal weapons, it also consists of a dynamic objective system that accentuates team tactics and strategic gameplay. Players can make use of various siege weapons in lush environments, contributing to a gritty and immersive medieval world.

Test Your Mettle Offline

The game offers both online and offline modes. The online mode supports fast-paced battles that involve storming castles, raiding villages, and battling for glory in the arena with up to 32 players. In contrast, the offline mode is designed to help players familiarise themselves with the controls and gameplay before diving into the action.

"Like its competition, Chivalry hasn't quite perfected the formula for medieval warfare, but it's a violent, fun time nonetheless."

"Chivalry is Quake to War of the Roses' Battlefield, and those seeking a faster-paced bloodier experience will undoubtedly prefer Chivalry's type of steel. [March 2013, p.65]"

A medieval 1st-person perspective multiplayer. The game can be fun at times but personally I lost interest after a few hours.
