A look at Focus Home Interactive's upcoming adventure RPG
There are another four days on the calendar before its release, but gamers have been treated to an early launch trailer for Call of Cthulhu.
Developed by Cyanide Studio (Styx and Space Hulk: Tactics) the upcoming adventure RPG sees players take on the role of private Investigator Pierce as he ventures to the isolated Darkwater Island in search of clues regarding the tragic death of the Hawkins family.
Expect a psychological horror with twists and turns as gamers delve deeper and deeper in this mysterious eerie maze - encountering strange creatures, weird science, and sinister cults that dominate the Cthulhu Mythos. The game launches on Steam PC and console on October 30th, but publisher Focus Home Interactive has released an early launch trailer to get you in the eerie mood.
Inspired by a classic tale, the game balances on the edge of sanity and psychosis, and players’ senses will be disrupted until you question the reality of everything around you… trust no one and discover what’s lurking in the shadows, if you dare. There is, of course, a previous Call of Cthulhu game that you may have previously heard of (Dark Corners of the Earth) which is a first-person action horror and published by Bethesda.
