Styx sticks to what stealth games should be and that is stealth. There’s no overarching gimmicks, just classic gameplay. Recommend if on sale

This game is awesome. Styx, with his various powers and abilities, really encourages a tactical mindset in the player navigating their way through the many obstacles and objectives to complete the missions.

Good pure stealth game, Story was not interesting so i ended up skipping most of it but the gameplay is solid, runs well and looks good. If you are into pure stealth then this is a game you may like

Pretty sloppy

It took me thirty minutes to rebind my controls because there is a bug where using anything but WASD breaks the game and you need to edit an ini file. Not a great first impression. Platforming works about half the time. So be prepared to save scum. Fighting is not an option, and neither is hiding, weirdly enough. Enemies on the map converge on your precise spot even when they don't see you go there. The AI in this game is incredibly obnoxious and nonsensical. They can't see past 3 meters, but when alerted every shot is pinpoint accurate. Detection is hard to avoid, especially if you don't spam invisibility or x-ray vision to highlight every enemy. Not a great stealth game, but it is a notch above drivel like Assassin's Creed or Metal Gear Solid 5. I would not recommend UNLESS you are a hardcore stealth fan or love the retro stealth genre.
