Ubisoft Forward 2023

Today during the Ubisoft Forward Livestream, we received some brand new information as well as cinematic and gameplay footage for the upcoming releases.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora

Starting with Avatar Frontiers of Pandora we were shown a variety of activities we can expect in the game as well as an overview of the story with James Cameron and a release date of 7th December 2023.

XDefiant

Following that we got a community reaction recap from the closed beta of XDefiant and plans for the game leading up to and following its release in Summer 2023 presented by XDefiant’s Executive Producer Mark Rubin.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

For Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown just announced a few days ago, we were shown story cutscenes as well as a large amount of pure gameplay with an overview by the Game Director Mounir Radi from Ubisoft Montpellier.

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix

Afterwards, we got an appearance by film & TV producer Adi Shankar dressed as a spaceman who talked about and showed an action-packed trailer for his upcoming Netflix animated series. It’s based on Ubisoft IP and is titled Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix which is set to come out in Autumn 2023.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence

Also to be released in Autumn is a new instalment in Tom Clancy’s The Division series, a mobile game Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, which was showcased in a new trailer containing some familiar action and information about pre-register rewards.

Skull & Bones

Promoting Ubisoft’s upcoming game Skull & Bones there was an appearance by the music🗲band Home Free performing a song over a pirate-packed gameplay trailer and an announcement of a closed beta test on 25th–28th August.

As a short intermission, we were shown a sizzle reel with Anno 1800, For Honor, Trackmania, Roller Champions, Brawlhalla, Rocksmith+, The Crew 2, and Riders Republic highlighting some events and updates and ending with a slightly longer look at a Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC featuring Rayman.

The Crew Motorfest

To promote The Crew Motorfest, we were shown a new trailer and The Creative Director from Ubisoft Ivory Tower, Stephane Beley, came on stage to give us an in-depth overview of the game’s many features and a release date of 14th September 2023.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR

For fans of Assassin’s Creed, there were several titles shown. Presented by Clement Dagonneau, Community Developer from Ubisoft Montreal it started with a trailer for Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR for Meta Quest, in which you will be able to play as Ezio, Connor, and Cassandra from the past games. Following that, we were shown a trailer for an open-world mobile RPG, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, featuring some recognisable parkour and combat gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Lastly, the Narrative Director from Ubisoft Bordeaux, Sarah Beaulieu, came on stage and gave us an in-depth overview of the story and a lengthy showcase of the gameplay of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Star Wars Outlaws

To wrap up the show, following a short appearance of Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, there was a bunch of new information as well as gameplay footage for the upcoming open-world game Star Wars Outlaws presented by Creative Director from Ubisoft Massive Julian Gerighty.
