- So what is Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood? - Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood continues the story of both Desmond Miles and Ezio Auditore in a parallel world where there is a secret war of Templars against assassins. There isn’t much to say about what little Desmond does without spoiling you. For the most part you play as Ezio who fights against the Templars in Rome during the 15th century, in order to liberate them and put a stop to the plans of global domination of Cesare Borgia. Like most Ubisoft open world games, you are the most skilled badass that ever lived and who is as poor as a church mouse. But fortunately, you know the only 2 skills that can get you all the way to the top of the food chain: How to climb tall towers (to unlock parts of the map) and the lack of a moral compass. So you steal and loot everything that is not nailed to the floor, including but not limited to take money from poor. AC Brotherhood was a huge step forward for the franchise, Ubisoft improved on almost everything from AC2. I particularly want to highlight how much they improved the combat system. You still have to attack, parry and counter enemies, but now everything feels more fluid and brutal. The kill animations are amazingly satisfactory to watch, let me share this video to you to make my point more clear. The combat system is so fun! Besides this, they improved the parkour and they added more ways to kill your enemies without getting your hands dirty. This was the first time the AC games made you feel like the leader of the Assassins, thanks to the Brotherhood mechanic, which lets you recruit and invoke assassins. The thing that I like the most about AC games is that you can virtually travel to places and times that were relevant for human history, and that you meet all kinds of interesting, and sometimes eccentric, historical figures, like Leonardo DaVinci. AC brotherhood from that point is a game worth playing, the actual story about the Borgas, specifically Rodrigo and Cesare Borgia is terrifying and interesting. One more thing before we move to the next part of this review. Since it’s an old game, the multiplayer and online features are mostly dead, because the servers went down a while ago. Be mindful of it in case you want to pick up this game for that. I personally think that the main attraction of the AC is the single-player aspect, but to each their own. If you encounter the same problems as I did,...

This game has one of the best character development arc in Assassin's Creed timeline. The decisions made by the protagonist reflect the real behaviour of someone learning to be better than their spoilt brash self. The game takes you into the journey from "Rome wasn't destroyed overnight" to "Rome wasn't built in a day" with notable historical figures and leaders. This is the first game in the franchise that allows you to seamlessly streak-kill enemies and give you the satisfaction of true stealth. Ezio may be a one-man-army to some, but the game pushes you to form your own fraternity and be a part of their adventures, be they intense battles, infiltration or training.
