METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES

Set in the 1970s, prologue Metal Gear Solid V: GROUND ZEROES sees players guide Snake (Big Boss) through an American black site in Cuba, in order to rescue Cipher agent Paz Ortega Andrade and former Sandinista child soldier Ricardo Valenciano Libre.

Featuring real-time day and night cycle, a revamped threat detection system, radical new game design and unparalleled style of presentation – players will have to analyze guard movement patterns and stealthily infiltrate the base to avoid against-the-odds gun fights.

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Once you’ve mastered the art of stealth in Ground Zeroes, it’s time to venture into 1980s Afghanistan as ‘Venom Snake’ in the expanded world of METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN. Ushering in a new era for the franchise with cutting-edge technology powered by the Fox Engine, THE PHANTOM PAIN provides players with a first-rate gaming experience with tactical freedom in open-world missions.

Set nine years after the events of GROUND ZEROES and the fall of Mother Base, Snake (now using the codename Venom Snake) awakes from a coma during The Cold War as nuclear weapons continue to shape a global crisis. In an act of revenge, Snake must create his new private army and pursue the shadow group, XOF.

A really good addition to the metal gear series, has plenty of content that will keep you busy for hours. The only slight downside is if you have no idea about the series you will probably have a few confusing moments but it is worth the investment

Absolutely worth it. If you are tight on money, it even goes on sale for £6! For that price it's an absolute steal! The story is pretty weird, but the gameplay is super fun!

To be 100% honest, the game is unfinished, Kojima wanted it big and Konami wanted it done. Story is great, it has a lot of useful resources, details and love in general. Music is lit, graphics and animation are awesome. You only have 1 savegame tho. I really like it, I have 719h on it, but a lot of them are on MGO3. There are a lot of cheaters and idiots in the online, but there is astill a small group of us who like to play fair. Definitively recommend the game.

This is a bundle of these two metal gear solid v that came out relatively close to each other. METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES You will often hear people say that this game is so short that it is just an overpriced demo, I don't agree with that. The game is indeed short with only one rescue mission. You might be surprised by that but think about it, this is not the kind of game that you just blast through and you save the day, you can do more than that. Its the kind of game that's designed to be played again as their is so much to explore as everything is here for a reason. Give it a try you wont regret it and it will warm you up for the second one. METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN MGSV features some of the best video game gameplay I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The gameplay is highly nuanced, vivid, and diverse. The open world is incredibly adaptable, and there are just too many ways to approach it for me to discuss right now. You begin with a limited variety of clothing, weapons, and equipment. You'll progress from mounting a horse and tranqing people with a low-end WU.Pistol to wearing parasite suits that allow you to become invisible or invincible, riding walker gear that can carry flamethrowers, and fulton-extracting individuals through metaphysical wormholes, etc. The performance of MGSV is one of it's highest and strongest points, MGSV has exemplary performance with dips being a rare rarity. Most of the time you dont expect a smooth gameplay when you barely meet the specs required but this one is different, you can not only run it smoothly but it also has amazing graphics.

Ground Zeroes portrays as a demo of phantom pain, but this short story game is not a ripoff of any sort. The game maintains the legacy of Metal Gear by keeping the same audience-favorite controls and gameplay style. In this part, it does not limit you to any boundaries. Complete a mission however you want. It holds 6 fun missions including, a story walkthrough mission, side operations, and a special operation that you can only unlock by completing all other missions with an S grade. Pretty short game with expert direction. ! Gameplay ! Set of story missions and side-ops ranging from tactical action, aerial assaults, and covert missions enriched with action, suspense, and a great environment. Your character Snake has a job to infiltrate a Cuban military base to rescue the hostages, with stealth being your priority. With a realistic-looking map, the controls are diversified & well-polished. Use shoulder aim side, weapon variety with different attachments, binoculars to tag enemies, stances, silent takedowns, cassettes, and much more according to your will. Stealth being the priority, the game mechanics alert you about an enemy, either suspecting your presence or spotting you; by indicators and slo-mo ability. To add a challenging experience, your suppressor will degrade according to the number of shots you make. And each kill will deduct your overall rank score. The story includes brilliant cutscenes, with one being completely hard to watch (surgery). It’s a short amusement game with high re-playability, and you will see Kojima himself in the game during the extraction mission. ! Graphics ! As Kojima Productions uses the Fox engine for their game development, it is highly detailed with marvelous lighting and animations. Even 1 map being available for the entire game, it feels different in each mission. Animations and cutscenes ranging from slo-mo, explosions, takedowns, and weather effects are all well done. It also offers a variety of scene by switching the day and night theme over the missions. We can say it was always ahead of its time. There are near about no noticeable visual bugs except the weapon going through a wall when you are standing on default, prone near a corner of a structure.
