Role-Playing Games have come and gone, A lot just didn’t make it and were quickly discarded by gamers and critics alike only a few manage to cut it off all over the years to gain that legendary status among hardcore fans of the genre. One of the such is without any qualms the Baldurs Gate franchise. Picking Off right where the prequel left off, Baldurs Gate II Enhanced Edition is nothing but yet another worthy upgrade in the iconic Bhalspawn saga. With enhanced graphics and the same nostalgic feel to it, Beamdog studios nailed it off with their remakes, delivering high-quality upgrades and the price is not a foot and a leg. To be honest, what Atari pulled off by considering remakes to this iconic franchise could be considered in the modern world as a fool’s doing since these remakes cost a tonne of money and there’s no guarantee that they’ll reel in enough to cover their development expenses at the very least, yet Atari took its chances and here we are 7-8 years down the line praising this franchises’ brilliance.
