If you enjoyed Baldur's Gate 3, you should definitely try Baldur's Gate 2. It's really good, the combat isn't turn-based but it's more of a RTS with pause, the story is also pretty good IMO (I won't give any spoilers) but what I enjoyed most is obviously the character interactions and stories themselves.
If you haven't played BG1 you don't have to worry, Baldur's Gate 2 has dialogue options that act as if your character was amnesic (due to something that happens in the prologue), which makes the NPC's talk a bit about themselves and about what you did together in the first game. :3

Baldur's Gate II is a worthy sequel to Baldur's Gate I, having most of the same strengths (combat encounter balancing, story, rich gameplay, dialogue)... and weaknesses (mostly just the painfully slow movement -- out of combat is rather dull).
If you liked the first one, or if you like other classic styled RPGs this will be right up your alley.
