I think the best way to sum up Core Keeper, would be to describe as Terraria x Stardew Valley.
Both titles mentioned above do what they do specifically, better than Core Keeper does, but Core Keeper does manage to blend elements from both of them well enough to make the comparison apt.
Most certaintly an early access product to keep an eye on. Plenty of things to craft, region to dig, things to fight etc. Very enjoyable with friends. One major downside is the lack of local split-screen. I like to play these sort of games with my partner, so that's a drawback. Biomes could also do with some work to make them more interesting to explore.
I can recommend it in it's current state.

Even though this game is in Early Access, I was very impressed with the polish. I chose this title for a game night with a friend and we had a blast. The online service worked perfectly and we played for 4 hours without any bugs or crashes. The only slight negative would be that there isn't much/any in-game tutorializing so we had to go to the wiki to figure some things out throughout our playthrough. This isn't unexpected with an in-development game, but I'd like to see an improvement in this area. Overall though, excellent game so far.

Core Keeper is a must have if you like survival / gathering games with sandbox elements and even co-op mode. You can explore a large area and gather resources which you can then use to craft tools, items, armor or even cook food. There are different types of monsters and areas which make the game feel more exciting as you explore the map.
