Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen has been acclaimed for its combat's fun factor and precision. In this expansive RPG, you'll become the light within a world that is torn.
Stolen Heart
A dragon has stolen your heart and not in the romantic way, yet you walk among the living normally — you've become the Arisen. And in order to stop the imminent apocalypse, you'll need to set out on a dangerous journey that will end in you and your dragon nemesis going head-to-head. In this action-packed adventure, you'll need to prepare yourself to cut off the Hydra's heads, climb atop griffins and take to the sky, and even defeat numerous dragons and creatures!
Companions
You'll have access to three AI companions that will aid you in your perilous journey; they're known as Pawns, and they will learn to fight from your play style. Owners of the game on the Steam PC version will also be able to share their Pawns online and reap rewards of treasures!
Customisation
There are nine different vocations to choose from, each with its own variety of skill options! Additionally, your armour can be upgraded and enhanced, and your Pawn companions can train to fit your desired combat style!

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen supports a lot of Steam features, such as achievements, cloud saving, Trading Cards, leaderboards, Big Picture mode, and — of course — both keyboard & mouse and controllers.

By now this game is a classic, and one you won't regret buying. The story, mechanics, music and even the graphics (even though is a PS3 game), feel smoth and truly delightful. I already had a copy, and it was so good that I gifted another to a friend so they could enjoy such a masterpiece.

Warning: Capcom is adding unfamiliar DRM to their back catalogue of games. This corp has repeatedly shown their stance towards mods in their games as well and seem to be taking action. I would caution you against purchasing any capcom product that contains this DRM as it’s unfamiliar, and untrustworthy. For now, if you really want this game, or any capcom game, I would stress that you watch and observe to see what happens in the near-ish future.
Please note that there is a lot of misinfo circulating about with regards to this situation. Please do your due diligence and research everything and even fact check myself before making a final judgement. I am doing the best I can to sift through the false info and properly inform myself and will update this review accordingly.
DRM is not always a bad thing, if used correctly, it protects initial sales. Then good publishers will remove it later on allowing for better experiences. I am upset when DRM harms performance, which it often does

Honestly the best ARPG in the last 20 years. Best combat, story is pretty good, overall gameplay mechanics are excellent. If you are into large open worlds full of mystery and wonder, and you want to fight huge monsters and explore tons of dungeons. This game is for you. The builds are also very complex and interesting. You can pretty much do anything you like. Enjoy.
