A strategic empire-building sim, Europa Universalis is a triumph for fans of the genre. Building a successful empire gives the player a real sense of achievement that other strategy games should aspire to recreate. Packed with familiar faces throughout history, it even has a tense cross-platform multiplayer mode which enables players to conquer their friends for the ultimate bragging rights.
