STORY Play as Mad Max, a lone warrior who embarks on a dangerous journey after his Interceptor is stolen by a deadly gang of marauders lead by the warlord, Scabrous Scrotus. Mad Max is very underrated. The combat style is very similar to that of Batman: Arkham Knight, and has its own quirks and a few flaws that make it more unique. The most important part of the game, the driving, is very fluid—maybe too much at times. Sound effects and combat variety can get stale pretty quickly. I rate this game five stars because of the world-building and characters that were available. The vehicle mechanics and ground combat may get repetitive, but they are fun at their core, and that’s what matters in my book.

When I first ran this game after purchasing it years ago, I could not believe how well optimized it was. One of the best optimized games I have ever encountered in this modern age of gaming. Ran smooth as butter on my Geforce GTX 760 without any issue a good majority of the time. As for the gameplay, it is a blast to play as you have a huge world to explore (even if you can't access outside the boundaries). Plenty to do too such as explore and helping others recover/acquire territory. In regards to graphics, it is very nice and again the game is very well optimized.
