About Marvel's Midnight Suns

About this game

Have you ever wondered how a Doctor Strange, Blade, and Wolverine team would deal with Lilith? Well, wonder no more! In Marvel's Midnight Suns, you will have the opportunity to lead an army of all kinds of superheroes to battle against the demonic Lilith and her Hydra troops.

Rich Story

Every fan of story-based games and Marvel can look forward to immersing themselves in a deep story about The Hunter, Lilith's only child. The game offers plenty of dialogue and scenes filled with the humour and rich stories that the Marvel fans have grown to love.

Create Your Own Character

In this story, you will have the ability to make your own Hunter by choosing their gender and physical appearance. But worry not, as the character is more than just an addition to the roster! The Hunter has their Marvel-esque lore and struggles that helps keep them genuine. You're part of the team in Marvel's Midnight Suns!

Part Of The Family

Speaking of being more than just a roster character, in the game, you will be able to interact with their heroes through different means. Whether it be silly jokes, deeper connections, or even fishing or sparring, the group of heroes is there to bond with! The friendships they form in the story do more than add dialogue, too, as your choices will affect how the characters interact on the battlefield.

More Than Just Tactical Combat

You won't just have to react appropriately in the heat of battle by using their environment and skills against the enemy but also find the right combination of superheroes to sync together. The game uses cards and turn-based tactics to keep players hooked on the strategy! Upgrade the cards, watch heroes and their iconic powers, and win arduous battles!

I'm not usually a hater, but I had to review this game. I'm about 8hrs in. It's terrible. Ultimately this is an over-packed mobile game and it should have been that. + The combat is pretty cool, and I'm sure as it builds it gets more complex and challenging and fun. I wish that player positioning mattered much. (Would be cool if it was closer to Bauldur's Gate) But it's just a battle arena every time. - No one wants to wander around a stupid hub area collecting random, floating, thingamajigs to combine into a whatchyamacallit that adds up to a nothingmuch. It's packed with time-wasting fluff. - The story is a very stilted, derivative, every-hero-cameo with the old end-o-the-World-trope. Feels like this was written by 13 year old for a 13 year old. - The best part of the game is the banter - but if everyone's a smart-ass then there's not much contrast there either. - The graphics & physics are last gen at best. I am shocked this was made on any Unreal engine. - And the cloud saves are busted at launch (with Steam Deck at least.) Spider-man and Guardians of the Galaxy were amazing. Unfortunately, this belongs in that other pile with Marvel's Avengers. I very much regret this purchase. Wish I could return on Fanatical.

Incredibly addicting, kind of like a mix of Xcom 2 + Persona. Some of the writing is cringey but if you're fine with things being super chill, its an extremely fun game that is hard to put down.

Great turn based strategy game

Fantastic game! A great mix of turn based strategy card combat, with deck building and some character bonding on the side! I thought the story content would be a drag compared to the battle gameplay but I genuinely enjoy both!

Firstly, im not a hardcore fan of this genre of game, but since Marvel Heroes, ive been looking for a game that fits my super hero fix. This game hasnt dissapointed. Plenty of fun characters to meet, gameplay is fun, im not amazing at the game but enjoy using my brain to fight instead of mashin and reacting liken vusually do. Some visual bugs i cant seem to figure out. The main characyers face reminds me of ME1 facial animations, but the stroy is just interesting enough for me considering i am not in the loop when it comes to all Marvel content. If you enjoy Xcom, and enjoy Marvel character's, id say give it a go. Have fun!

Great combat system, but so much busy work to actually get to it. You have to constantly talk to people, upgrade stuff, explore, and find and pet your dog
