I have to begin with that 1. I love railroad simulators and 2. I need to put more hours in this game for a fully proper review, but here’s what I have for now.
I love this game! It was apart of the simulation bundle, as I was mostly interested in the game Beholder 3. This game was my second option, and War Mongrels was my third for the bundle.
If you ever played Simcity Trains growing up.. this is definitely the game to grab.
The graphics are adorable and pleasant to the eyes, the speed of the game is reasonable and you can choose to speed up the level so you’re not stuck watching trains slowly drive around (or if you’re a nerd like me, you do enjoy watching them slowly drive).
There are 50 levels total, but there is a TON of DLC and Mod downloads in the Workshop Community on Steam to add more.

Fun and addictive arcade railroad-building game. Some levels more fun than others, in some cases you really need to know which route your track needs to go and if you build incorrectly (either by design or due to UI) even a little, you need to restart the level. No undo, no designing the route and then saying 'build this' when you see it will go as planned.
