My experience of this game is that it's really hard on the "hard" difficulty. I chose that on my first run due to the associated achievements, and it's been really grindy with a lot of dying. I have not yet tried the normal difficulty to see how lenient it is compared the hard, but I would guess it would probably be closer to my expectations I had prior to starting the game.
While playing, I have gotten stuck on some boss fights which took me some time to beat as I had to figure out their attack patterns. It was quite satisfying after passing those battles.
The game has quite a few abilities available known as "demon powers" and they make the game more simple by only allowing you to have 2 at a given time compared to most other ARPGs. You can hot swap them during battles which is quite handy as some powers work better than others against different types of enemies.
I like the variety of weapons in the game, they all feel fun to use (base game) and it's been mostly an enjoyable experience. I will be playing the DLC as well and maybe update the review after that. Victor Vran is not a bad game, but I think I enjoyed The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series a little more.

Vector Vran is one of those Diablo-Likes that really Stands above other Games alike. The Level-Design is fairly unique, the skills Look good and i really love the Monsters. The controls are was better with controlled tho, Played it on Xbox before and it's hard to change my habits
