About Control Ultimate Edition

About this game

Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games

The mystery is the name of the game in this third-person action shooter. Take the role of Jesse Faden, who has found herself in charge of a mysterious government organisation and tasked with fighting off the supernatural entities that have usurped the halls of their headquarters.

Battle the Unexplained

In navigating the winding halls of the Oldest House, Jesse will find herself face-to-face with all manner of mysterious foes and reality-defying creatures. Learn more about the elusive entity known only as the ‘Hiss’, as you undo the carnage it has wreaked upon the facility.

Learn New Powers

To defeat the impossible, you must become the impossible. Various skill trees and unlockable abilities allow you to tailor your playstyle to your liking. Master the power of flight and telekinetically turn any nearby item into deadly a weapon as you hurl all manner of objects at anything that stands in your way.

Includes DLC

Control Ultimate Edition also includes two pieces of DLC content; The Foundation and AWE. The Foundation has Jesse exploring a large cavernous ruin that has been found beneath the Oldest House. AWE is a crossover story between Control and Alan Wake, and includes the eponymous character himself in a gripping story spanning both of the games.

Great game, amazing story. Set in the Alan wake universe and one of the most fun innovative games using physics to it's limits

I absolutely loved wrecking The Oldest House, as well hurling a large vehicle at the Hiss! At first, I felt a bit uneasy to continue, as the Launch ability was still somewhat odd to me. I'm glad I didn't quit the game, I kept trudging, all the way to AWE, when that tall spooky thing chased me. I also loved The Foundation; the art was impeccable! I adored Jesse for putting the Board in their place in this DLC, how she took two crystal-bending powers, awesome! The story might progress a bit slow at first, but it does not disappoint! Love this game and Remedy! Waiting for Control 2!!!!!

A gripping and tense game, that’s loads of fun. Creepy environment, with a phenomenal atmosphere and general feel. The “building” itself is an amazing character all on its own, and the game is fun all the way through.

Control ultimate edition = mental illness simulator ultimate. Decent game not a great one.

Graphics are good, runs rather decently smooth/responsive almost to the point of being considered you might almost mistake it for a VULKAN freesync title but yeah nah not quite that good. Its story and setting are kinda dumb? the weapons seem cool till you realise how very much they all arent and that average rocks are miles better than them. As a person with mental illness i just thought the entire game was a mental illness simulator. But i'd only played majority of the game and unlocked all the weapons. I'd not finished it completely and dont know how it ends. But yeah if its sold cheaply and you want a solo campaign game give it a go if you love shooters and want a novelty twist where rocks are the new guns and bullets and you tear rocks outta the concrete walls with your mind to blast armed enemies with. coz your scifi alien guns might as well be alien penises. BE WARNED! WARNING this game contains ugh.. puzzles. not normal ones.. no the ones where u walk around large areas toggling switches and entering codes and stuff to open doors. Because screw keys and normal fetch quests.. or you know mind powers? lets have strange post it notes with geometric patterns hidden around be a secret code the aliens could never break.

Great game, you should play it (and Alan Wake)

Honestly, Remedy might just become the MCU of the gaming universe. Their penchant for storytelling is unparalleled with this game, not to mention the actual mechanics. Early on, the combat feels slow and a bit janky, but as you unlock abilities, it starts flowing in a way that you are almost always on the offensive in some capacity, and it feels great. great game!
