If you liked Monster Hunter World, odds are you're going to like this one as well. Also, decorations are craftable, hooray! Which means, no RNG impeding your build... completely.
That said, talisman RNG grind is tedious, but it's mostly for min-maxing. Most of the monsters are already in World with not that many new additions and some of the selection is pure lazy, like several types of raptors with just different ailment attached.
The investigations from World are not here either, so it leaves you just repeating the same quests with not much variation.
Overall, it's still a really good experience and will easily last you a hundred hours or so.

The new game in the series improved the mobility of the hunter by introducing a new mechanic called "wire bugs". It is more fun playing as a hunter by having more freedom of movement. The design of the weapons and armour are a step in the right direction too.

Great Time all Around. The Best multiplayer game from Japan is now here in a Beautiful PC port. Definitely worth playing if you have an itch to grind for some sweet looking armor and weapons. Engaging fights and a grind that isn't monotonous one bit.
