"A greater focus on raiding tombs, and massively improved stealth combat, make this one of Lara Croft's best modern adventures."

DarkStation

"If Uncharted rose to fame with weapons it stole from washed-out Tomb Raider (before its reboot), Shadow of the Tomb Raider grabs them back, making it visually and gameplaywise...

GameStar

91 / 100
"The Tomb Raider trilogy presents itself in its best form for the final. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is an all-round great action-adventure game."

If you're interested in the rebooted Tomb Raider why not pick this up. There really nothing special here.

Very similar to the first 2 games in this trilogy, but with enough differences (especially from the DLC tombs/challenges) to keep it mostly fresh. Great graphics, decent story, moderate length. You'll either love it or find it boring and repetitious if you've played the previous games.

Game was good if a little on the shorter side than the 2nd game (which is my favourite by far). Certain aspects were more difficult than others (some of the tombs were a little confusing on what to do and when) but various walkthroughs online helped with that. Would recommend to anyone a fan of rpg's like horizon zero dawn or the other tomb raider games. The difficulty settings were a great addition, I prefer focusing on the story rather than challenging my shooting abilities and the difficulty settings split into categories allowed me to do that. I appreciated the difficulty settings being separate for the tombs/challenges too as I could make them harder without affecting the combat difficulty. Overall, great game - only crashed a couple times though I'm happy to suffer that to play the game.

Got caught up in too many glitches, forcing to re-install and start again. Such an annoying set back. Although the Game has an interesting story-line, with tolerable navigation/direction

I'm 9 hours in the game and this one resembles the most to old Tomb Raider games from the "new" trilogy. Of course the platforming is more limited and the puzzles are simpler but that can be said for almost all of the newer games. So far I like this one the most from the last three TR games.
