The destiny of a galaxy hangs in the balance, and you are in command with action strategy STAR WARS Galactic Battlegrounds Saga.
Lead the great armies of the Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones saga in intense real-time strategy clashes. Enter the fray as the Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Wookies, Trade Federation, Gungans or Royal Naboo to determine the course of the Galactic Civil War.
Expand the battlefield with the Clone Campaigns addon. Choose to play as the breakaway Confederacy of Independent Systems or the Galactic Republic in 14 missions based on characters, vehicles and locations from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

I loved this game when it originally came out and was pleased to buy a bargain-priced copy - its saves all the messing about with patches, etc. Nice graphics (for its age), great sound fx and many hours of fun to be had. Pity the latest movies failed to capture the old Star Wars fun.

Overall, a lot of the game still holds up very well! The factions are as similar and different as I remember back when I was a kid, with their little gimmicks. The biggest problem, at least for me, is I forgot how slow paced the early game of this is. The amount of time spent teching up is long, and on any campaign mission you're given a base you can expect to spend a while teching up before you can close out the mission.
