Starfield is not groundbreaking. It neither defines nor defies its genre. It is simply a fun and engaging RPG with tons of content to engage with. It is, in my opinion, the best game Bethesda has ever released.

Yes, you need mods to make playing more enjoyable. Yes, it's still a Bethesda game and has outdated mechanics. But I'm having a great time and enjoying being in this universe! Spend some time modding and go for it! The main story drags a bit in the beginning, but then it gets better and the side missions are very fun and varied! I definitely recommend the game!
