I am enjoying this game very much. There does seem to be a bit of a learning curve on the controls, especially for ship combat and modification. A reference section would be helpful. It is hard to stop playing when real life calls and I'm out of time.

Starfield is a Bethesda game through and through. Ignore all the negative commentary around bad FPS on modern hardware - if you meet the requirements, you will have a great time, technically. Starfield really is Fallout and Skyrim in space - and that is the best part of Starfield. It takes the systems of story telling, random quest generation and beautiful vistas of those games and amplifies it to 11, and that is before you get to any mods (which is already exploding without the official mod tools being available).
If you are any kind of fan of Bethesda's previous games (even Fallout 76 5 years later) you will enjoy Starfield for what it is - the best creative endeavor of a developer we all love.

If you are a fan of fallout, this game will give you that same fuzzy feeling Bethesda delivers every time. They did a great job with this one, I'm only 12 hours in and feel like i didn't explore a smidge of whats available. So far have no complaints, there is a slight learning curve so reading will be fundamental as always. The bottom line is this game delivers on space exploration and goes about it in a fun way.
