Beautiful remastered version of the game. Iconic soundtrack, story, and gameplay that everything else seems to use as a measuring stick. I played the game the night it released and had a hard time putting it down for years. Coming back to this world with graphics and enhancements the community has implemented has made this game stand the test of time and honestly is still pretty gorgeous even by today's standards.

This game has that almost undefinable “it”factor. It has that “one more turn” appeal. The combat is simple, which is great for people who aren’t the most dexterous. You can focus like a laser beam or wander around aimlessly. You can keep trying to find a way not to get killed by being creative. Most importantly, it it simply immersive like a great book. As an added plus, an incredible community of modders. At 60 years old, the first open world game I have ever loved.

Just the classic Skyrim experience packaged into the special edition. I decided to go with this edition due to the modding community's preference of it over the legendary or anniversary editions. If you don't want to manually download mods, Special Edition has access to the creator club so you can gets mods from within the game and not from 3rd party websites so it's even easier to mod of you don't know how. Overall playing has been a lot of fun, haven't played Skyrim in many years so it's definitely scratching that fantasy itch I've been having. Total score review: 8/10
