This game is fun. I'm 42 hours in and I still have a ways to go. There are some shortcomings though. The loyalty and fear system for your companions is awkward and arbitrary; most of the changes seem to occur in the beginning of the game, and then in the middle there seems to be no change at all. The magic system was a really cool idea, but it feels incomplete, as most combinations aren't available. I dislike also how there is no friendly fire at all, a departure for the genre that makes it feel like it was dumbed down for me. I also dislike the loot system, where you find a bunch of items of no consequence that magically scale with your level. Disturbing as well is a game based so heavily on text having so many errors, like switched homophones and missing words. It's also a bit of a pain to have some many different characters explain to me the same basic information about the world. Despite my nitpicking, this is a good game and worth your time.

Great story with many choices and them all have consequences. There is a lot of lore and a lot of text and it's awesome.
Companions have a good background and a clear personality and morality, they have nice sub quests too.
I also enjoyed the spell system.
