"Wolfenstein 3D changed how we looked at first person games in 1992 and The New Order, while not as big of a step, may be just as important of one for the future of the genre."

Enemies feel kinda cheap at times, had to switch to Easy at some point because of it. Story was great and so were the graphics, good FPS overall if we ignore the difficulty problems it has at times

This game had me enraptured for weeks, i played through on the easiest mode, then ramped it up to the second highest. The characters are loveable, and the villains stick with you long after playing.

Staff Review
Less Luftwaffe, less blitzkrieg, more 'Giant Nazi Robot Thing', Wolfenstein: The New Order throws you into 1960s America with a twist... The Nazi's won WWII. Gore, gore and even more gore, The New Order brings the franchise back to the forefront of gaming.

The graphics of the game aren't anything to write home about by today's standards (or of the time it came out, for that matter), but graphics come second to most people anyway, right? Gameplay- and game-wise, this is certainly a game that is worthy of the Wolfenstein title. Gritty melee kills, fun gunplay, upgradeable skills - what more do you want?

The campaign can be completed in about 11 hours(You can double this amount once you replay the game). Going to endorse players to first play "Old Blood" first before this game. Its a basic FPS. The only difference in gameplay is the choice you make has a large impact on the storyline afterwards. It doesn't invent something new with the FPS but it has solid map design to make use of all mechanics aside from just shooting. Again I would suggest to play Old blood first, The story directly continues after that game (or just skip it completely). It tells the story of what if Nazis suddenly have advanced Tech during WW2 and what would have happened to the world. The MAIN complaints I have for this game is that Bethesda\Machine games haven't patched the game since I have to do steps to make it playable. I have 1 issue where everything is red and have to do at least an Hour just making changes and finding out how to remove it(Alt+enter several times after applying patch) Pros - Currently part of Fanatical bundle for 3 games for $10 - Since Bethesda doesn't have Regional Pricing, MS buying Zenimax "should" be a blessing since MS actually follows Steam's Regional pricing and probably a reason why it's suddenly in a cheap bundle - Decent characters and VAs for all main cast - Believable Storyline and Lore - Satisfying conclusion for the story Needs improvement -Some unused characters or somehow maybe skipped the "story" for them. Cons - They haven't patched several things. - I have to use 3rd party instructions to make the game playable and also do some other things to display the game properly.(Showing red Display as well as Aiming down sights with Marksman)

Great game. Classic dual wielding, nazi shooting fun but with a surprisingly weighty and excellent story.
