About Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

About this game

Join Kazuma Kiryu in another action-packed adventure with your Yakuza 6: The Song of Life Steam PC key. In this seventh installment in SEGA's ever-popular franchise, now available on PC for the first time, you will find out exactly how much people are willing to sacrifice for family - be those ties through blood or bond - when Kiryu investigates a series of shadowy events that involve the ones he holds closest to his heart.

LOOKING FOR PEACE

Fresh out of a three-year prison sentence, an older and weathered Kiryu discovers that his surrogate daughter, Haruka, has gone missing from the orphanage he looks after. The trail leads him to his old stomping grounds in Kamurocho, where he discovers that she has been struck by a car and now lies in a coma.

To make matters worse, Kiryu learns that Haruka now has a son that he must look after. With baby in hand, Kiryu journeys to the seaside town of Onomichi, Hiroshima to unravel the truth about Haruka, her son, and a sinister secret that the Hiroshima yakuza are harboring.

AN IMMERSIVE WORLD

From the unparalleled realism of the new setting of Onomichi - a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture - to the latest evolution of Kamurocho, the biggest red-light district in Tokyo, Yakuza 6 blends a gritty crime story with hyper-explosive combat, and all the vices and distractions those locales have to offer.

UNLEASH THE DRAGON!

Enter the 'Dragon Engine' and explore the world of Yakuza like never before. Yakuza 6 is the first current-gen Yakuza title that was developed from the ground up for the current-gen hardware, introducing the seedy Japanese underworld with detailed visuals, lifelike animations, a new physics engine, interactive storefronts, seamless transitions, and more.

IMPROVED FOR PC

Explore a reborn Kamurocho and the scenic views of Onomichi in all its glory - the hypnotic lights, opportunistic inhabitants, and hedonistic distractions of Kamurocho have never looked so good. Revamped mini-games like karaoke, batting cages, darts, hostesses, and the SEGA arcade have been streamlined for maximum enjoyment, and new additions like the RIZAP Gym, Cat Café, and Clan Creator are the 'purrfect' distractions after a long night of bashing heads!

Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life to play tourist in beautiful Onomichi. This tranquil coastal community is home to plenty of local activities like bar mingling, spearfishing (think action-packed rail shooter … with fish), and more!

HARD-HITTING COMBAT

It's time to let the bodies hit the floor in Yakuza 6 as Kiryu is a 100% certified badass, so that means he’s a battle-hardened veteran when it comes to the art of street fighting. Although he utilizes one fighting style this time around, you best believe Kiryu hits like a truck.

You'll be thrilled to hear that devastating combos and bone-breaking Heat Actions make a return, but now the Dragon of Dojima can fill up a meter to engage Extreme Heat Mode. When activated, Kiryu glows blue and unleashes heavy-damage combos with his fists or any 'tool' that’s close at hand.

FULLY VOICED AUDIO

For the first time in series history, every line and piece of dialogue is fully voiced in Japanese. Let the dramatic story and absurd humor of the series unfold like an interactive foreign film experience.

YOUR OFFICIAL YAKUZA 6: THE SONG OF LIFE STEAM PC KEY INCLUDES:

  • The seventh installment of the Yakuza series, finally on PC!
  • Devastating combos and over-the-top combat at your disposal.
  • Fully voiced Japanese dialogue for the first time in the series' history.
  • Revamped and brand new mini-games to enjoy in Kamurocho and Onomichi.

It's Yakuza, what do i have to tell more. Simply one of the greatest story/beat em up game series.

This game definitely ended the Kiryu Kazuma saga on a high note. The game was released on the newer Dragon Engine resulting in better gameplay and graphics. The story was more engaging than the previous titles and probably the best in the numbered series. If you're playing through the series you are definitely going to want to pick this up.

The game was awesome. The main story took what they did from past Yakuza entries and just continued that style in a new location with new characters. The story really drove it home that it was an important story point of the series and leaves room for players to interpret what happens next for many of the characters. As for sub stories/side stories, the game still got them and were funny and has a lot of awesome references from the past games. The maps are really cool and not being in Japan before, this makes me want to go there myself. Other the other hand, I think the game got some weak spots. The number of side activities had been reduced compared to past Yakuza entries. The 'O town' map lacks the most in activities and some parts of it just feels empty with nothing much besides story. The combat does lack uniqueness or complexity, it only has that beat 'em up vibe instead of a combat oriented style that past Yakuza games had (though I forgive them on this since this the first game with their latest Dragon Engine of physics based ragdolls). This experimental heat action meter was very different from other games. Lastly, they cut out a lot of 'K City''s map to avoid extra work/use of the areas but would've been great to have those areas to explore. As there may be a lot of bad things to say, they can be counteracted by the positive things which weigh more than the bad things I've pointed out. I'd still recommend it if you're looking for something dramatic with a spice of activities that won't take too much of your time. And if you are following the Yakuza series, this is a must-play before Yakuza 7 and so on.

The combat is sloppy, the RTS minigame sucks and the performance requirements are much higher than they should be, but if you can get past all of that it's still a good yakuza game
