Fans call out error in Netflix's new Witcher image of Geralt and Roach

Netflix has just released new images from the upcoming Witcher TV series, and some fans have jumped at the chance to highlight some inaccuracies.

The images of Geralt of Rivia, played by Superman actor Henry Cavill, riding his noble steed Roach were released on the official Netflix Twitter account earlier today.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">You begged, we delivered. Here’s your first look at Roach! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TheWitcher?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#TheWitcher</a> <a href="https://t.co/Ll3LWtWcg7">pic.twitter.com/Ll3LWtWcg7</a></p>&mdash; NX (@NXOnNetflix) <a href="https://twitter.com/NXOnNetflix/status/1151125243487850497?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 16, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

But a handful of gamers and Witcher fans have made some 'lighthearted' suggestions for how Geralt and Roach should appear, and more so act, in the new show.

On a serious note, it's a bit of fun and fans haven't attacked the producers in the way that some did about the design of Sonic the Hedgehog in the upcoming movie. Their 'banterous' criticism focuses on the, shall we say, minor glitches that occurred in the Witcher game franchise, predominantly The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and how Roach should look.

Please the enjoy this selection of Tweet replies from eagle eyed fans who shared their feedback.

On another serious note, we think that Henry looks awesome as Geralt (so does Roach) and we can't wait to see the Witcher TV show!
