Time to join us once more for the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. We’ll be taking a look at the games that have been announced. 

Which games are you looking forward to? Don’t hesitate to let us know.

Fable

The first game to be revealed is the long awaited Fable game. Playground Games presented their news with Richard Aoyade playing Dave, a vegetable enthusiast as he discusses heroes and their weapons. 

We see the tongue-in-cheek tone that we can expect from the Fable series, and a closer look at the gameplay. It will be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass, however, a release date is yet to be announced.

South of Midnight

Our next game to be revealed is Compulsion Games latest project: South of Midnight. A fantasy game full of monsters and the blues, we meet our hero as she approaches skeletal blues artist, Shaking Bones as she hunts for a monster. 

This cinematic trailer reveals the tone you can expect from South of Midnight, which will be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One, and it will be available on both Steam and Xbox Series X|S.

Star Wars Outlaws

From Massive Entertainment, an Ubisoft studio, we were given a world premiere of their latest Star Wars game. The Empire is everywhere, but on this planet, the Syndicates reign supreme. You play as a heroine surviving by playing the Syndicate’s game with her small alien companion. 

Aiming to be free, she is given a chance by Jalen for a fresh break. So travel the galaxy in Star Wars Outlaws, which will be coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. If you want to see a gameplay walkthrough, the reveal will be shown tomorrow at Ubisoft Forward.

33 Immortals

Next up, we have the world premiere of 33 Immortals from Thunder Lotus. In this game, you can pick up and raid dungeons in a 33 player co-op as you wage war against your enemies as you face the wrath of God. 

33 Immortals will be coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S and available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass in 2024.

Payday 3

Next up, we have a newly revealed trailer of the third instalment of the Payday series from Starbreeze Studios. Embark on heists in this first person shooter, which you can look forward to playing with your friends.

Payday 3 will be available on the 21st of September this year on PC and Xbox Series X|S and will be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

Persona 3 Reload

Atlus have revealed their remake of Persona 3, so fans of the original have a lot to look forward to. Fans of the 2006 game will be looking forward to Persona 3 Reload, which appears to have upgraded to have a similar style to Persona 5

Persona 3 Reload will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows in Early 2024, and you can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

Avowed

Up next, we have Avowed from Obsidian Entertainment. You’re sent by the emperor to investigate a plague corrupting the souls of the people in the Living Lands. This is an FPS where you wield magic and an array of weapons as you work to forge your own destiny. 

Use the powers given to you in Avowed, which will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam in 2024. Avowed will also be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island

Next we have Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island from Rare and LucasFilm Games. In the trailer, we are welcomed to the Scumm Bar, the most notorious tavern on Melee Island, where you are introduced to The Legend of Monkey Island. But most importantly, we meet the legendary pirate, Guybrush Threepwood. 

You can checkout this crossover expansion for free on 20th July. It will be available on Xbox, Steam, and Xbox Games Pass.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

We now have the world premiere of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from Asobo Studio. You’ll be able to pursue your dream career of aviation in the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator. You’ll be able to partake in aerial firefighting, search and rescue, helicopter cargo transport, work on an air ambulance and so much more, in the latest edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator. 

Fly like you’ve never flown before in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. You can play it on Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One in 2024. 

Dune and Microsoft Flight Simulator Expansion

Our next trailer shows us a new expansion of Microsoft Flight Simulator which allows you to pilot aircrafts from the Dune series to celebrate the next Dune film.

The Dune expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam on the 3rd of November. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

Prior to our next trailer, we see Melina Juergens, a motion capture actress from the performance capture stage at Ninja Theory. They have just completed the motion capture shoots for Hellblade II, and we have a brief look back at the cinematic and immersive action of Senua facing a gigantic troll on the Icelandic coastline.

In this trailer, we take a deeper look into Senua’s personal quest and perspective of her journey. With footage captured on the Xbox Series X, we see in-game footage of what you can expect from Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. 

You can play the latest Hellblade sequel in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S and Steam. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One. 

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have revealed Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Ichiban returns in this latest instalment, awakening nude on an American beach. 

Fans of the Yakuza series can look forward to Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth in early 2024. It will be available on both Xbox and Windows.

Fallout 76 Atlantic City

Bethesda Softworks have revealed that Fallout 76 will be getting a new location as vault dwellers can head to the boardwalk of Atlantic City with a catchy new jingle. This is a brand new Expedition that Fallout 76 fans can look forward to soon.

If you’re looking forward to seeing new sights, you’ll be pleased to know that the Atlantic City update to Fallout 76 will be coming soon. You can play Fallout 76 now on Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and it’s also available on Xbox Game Pass. 

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Up next is the world premiere of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess from Capcom. In this trailer, we get a closer look at a monster filled feudal Japan. There are a wide range of enemies to fight, all inspired by Japanese folklore and legends in this beautiful trailer.

You can look forward to a mixture of magic and melee combat in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess which will be available on Xbox Series X|S. While no release date has been set, you can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

Forza Motorsport

Take a look at the Cadillac V-Series. R and the all-new Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray as General Motors ushers in a new era of competition in the new Forza Motorsport. 

Chris Esaki, the creative director of Turn 10 Studios reveals General Motors and Forza Motorsport are pairing their strengths in technical excellence and modern design to take bold steps into the future and bring that same experience to gamers. 

Take a look at the customisation options and speed of these new cars in this brand new trailer for Forza Motorsport. 

Forza Motorsport will be out on 10th October, and will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam. You can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom

Meet the One Who Knows in Bethesda’s new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online. Disconnected from fate’s flow, he recognises unseen forces who move against him, hungering for forbidden knowledge. They seek a mystery long kept hidden, one that can unravel reality itself.

You must save Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, the latest expansion for Elder Scrolls Online. You can get the expansion on Xbox and Steam on the 20th of June.

Overwatch 2 New Season

Blizzard Entertainment have revealed a new trailer for the new season of Overwatch 2 revealing Toronto under attack from the Null Sector. Revealing new characters for Overwatch 2, you’ll be able to see fresh gameplay as mechs attack Toronto. 

Enjoy new ways to play in the Flashpoint game mode. There will be new co-op events and new heroes. You can also test your skills in the firing range, and embark on new story missions. 

You can enjoy the new season on the 10th of August. Meet Kiriko, Lifeweaver, Ramattra, Sojourn, and Junker Queen in the New Heroes Starter Pack, which you can unlock with Game Pass Ultimate on the same day. 

Persona 5 Tactica

Up next is the world premiere of Persona 5 Tactica from Atlus. Return to the world of the Phantom Thieves in the latest Persona 5 spin-off. With a style reminiscent of the Persona Q series, this is a tactics-based spin-off. 

Joining the Phantom Thieves is the Rebel Core. Face new villains in new Palaces in the latest instalment in the franchise.

Persona 5 Tactica will be available on the 17th of November on Xbox and Windows, and available on Day One on Xbox Game Pass.

Starfield

Bethesda has revealed a new trailer for Starfield. Explore the universe in Starfield and discover the unknown. Uncover new life as you join Constellation to discover more about the unknown. 

Search for artefacts to uncover the secrets of the universe and save the human settlements in the galaxy. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the music and story in this brand new trailer for Bethesda’s latest game.

Starfield will be available on the 6th of September on Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and you can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass. 

Jusant

We now have the world premiere of Jusant from Don’t Nod. In this game, you will climb mountains with your small alien companion as you try to reach new heights.

You’ll explore new environments in a variety of different biomes in this stunning adventure from Don’t Nod. 

Jusant will be released in fall of 2023, and will be available on Xbox Series X|S, and you can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass. 

Still Wakes The Deep

Secret Mode and The Chinese Room have released the world premiere trailer of Still Wakes The Deep. Explore their new first-person horror game as you are stranded on what appears to be an abandoned oil rig where you must try to survive the unknown.

Still Wakes The Deep will be arriving in early 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, and will be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass. 

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Go on a colourful adventure where your sword is also a hoverboard in Dungeons of Hinterberg from Curve Games. You will travel the world and talk about your adventures in your journal. 

You’ll face enemies and zipline to new horizons in Dungeons of Hinterberg which will be available on Xbox Series X|S in 2024. Play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass. 

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Keanu Reeves will be returning as Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This is an expansion to Cyberpunk 2077 where Johnny and V reunite for a dangerous spy mission, and introduces Idris Elba to the series as Solomon Reed, a secret agent.

Visit Dogtown, an unexplored area of Night City as you go on a mission to rescue the president of the New United States of America. There will be a lot to look forward to in this new expansion from CD Projekt Red. 

Keanu introduces the new trailer for Phantom Liberty with footage of new gameplay. When the president crashes into Dogtown, V is given an opportunity to save herself by saving the president.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be available on the 26th of September.

Cities Skylines II

Next is a new gameplay trailer which focuses on Cities Skylines II. You will create new cities and connect them and you will be able to make everything yours. Design your cities and help them run successfully with your individual vision.

Fans of Cities Skylines will be pleased to know that this sequel will be released on the 24th of October on Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass. 

Metaphor ReFantazio

Now, we have a world premiere of Metaphor ReFantazio from Atlus and Studio Zero. In Atlus’ newest instalment, we imagine the world we live in today as their utopia. Directed by Katsura Hashino and with character designs from Shigenori Soejima, you can expect a brand new game from the creators of Persona.

This is a new fantasy drama with music from Shoji Meguro. Look through the mirror of reality in Metaphor ReFantazio. Fans of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei will be looking forward to this new game that follows in its predecessors footsteps.

Metaphor ReFantazio will be released in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S and Windows.

Towerborne

Xbox Game Studios have presented a world premiere of Towerborne from Stoic, the creators of the Banner Saga Trilogy. Humanity’s cities have fallen and they must seek sanctuary in the belfry. Explore the world and uncover the origin of evil to bring hope to the people.

This is a co-op adventure you can play with your friends as you explore an ever-changing world. 

Towerborne will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam in 2024. It will be available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.

Clockwork Revolution

Finally, InXile Entertainment has revealed the steampunk FPS, Clockwork Revolution. In a world where the city runs like clockwork, one rebellious gear can change everything. 

You can change the past to control the future with an array of weapons at your disposal. Battle steampunk mechs and other enemies in Clockwork Revolution, available on Xbox Series X|S and Steam, coming in due time. You can play it on Day One with Xbox Game Pass.
