About Beyond Good and Evil

About this game

Developed and published by Ubisoft.

In Beyond Good and Evil, you'll step into the shoes of Jade — a rebellious action reporter who takes matters into her own hands when she grows sceptical of her government's ability to repel the alien race who has been attacking their planet, Hyllis, for centuries. Armed with her camera, her dai-jo staff, and sheer determination, she ends up in a battle against evil.

Create A Rebellion

In order to expose the government's secrets, Jade decided to join an underground resistance group. Meet the cast and go off to use all in your power — stealth, force, and wits! — to find the truth.

More Than A Conspiracy

In this futuristic world full of deception, you'll need to keep your eyes peeled, as nothing is what it seems, and only the truth will set everyone free.

Be Prepared

Use tag-team fighting combos and Jade's mastery of the dai-bo staff to defeat everyone and everything that gets in your way!

Very much a reccomended purchase! I played it in ps2 back in the day and replayed it several years later on ps3. Nice experience, more than what I would have expected from a playstation 2 game to be fair. Music is really nice, graphics are a-ok, story is nice, but overall a really good experience.

I love this game with all my heart. This game has stuck with me for over a decade, and I continue to come back to it to experience the good old days, back when Ubisoft made incredible games with fantastic singleplayer experiences. It's a shame how the games industry has shifted so far away from making games like this. If you like games with fun action, great story and that feel nostalgic, this one is a must-have.
