RIP.&.TEAR. That has been the cornerstone of DOOM since the beginning, and it continues to be so here. There is literally nothing here I could say that you have not read before, you will keep doing what you do best; painting the landscapes with the demons' entrails.
I personally enjoyed this as much as the previous release, it is brutal, but fun. It is gory, but fun. It is merciless, but fun.

Though frantic FPS isn't normally my thing I thought it my solemn duty as a gamer to have played at least one Doom game at some point, so while it was on sale I picked this up. I haven't played a lot so far, but I'm enjoying it more than I expected for a game that very much punishes you for staying still. Limited ammo for all weapons means you have to make use of pretty much everything in your loadout in order to get through the larger fights, which is definitely good for me - I tend to find a weapon I like and sit back to methodically pick off enemies in most games and that's just not an option here.
All in all - Doom Eternal has forced me to change just about every aspect of my playstyle within about 10 minutes of starting it, and I'm really enjoying it!

Interesting change-ups from the previous game, different. Excellent graphics, but as I haven't finished it, can't say how the new systems for bosses and battles holds up over time. Haven't had any crashes or issues. If you enjoy High Speed battles without so much on the character building or adventuring, you will enjoy this, especially with a powerful enough system.
