"Unless you never touched The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim when it was released, or you're a die-hard fan of the license who's in the throes of nostalgia, this special anniversary...

"Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is full of lackluster additions to a fantastic game. Some new areas are blocked off, quests feel like busy work, and the new items aren’t all that...
78 / 100
"Skyrim is still magnificent, but a collection of moderately executed additional content does not justify the new price for an old game."

It's a medieval fantasy simulation - for a D&D nerd, it's a dream come true. It's by far my most played game in recent years - and I have barely touched the main quest... and I'm 40+ yo w/ a job and family! Mods allow you to make it into whatever experience you like, and that's priceless. It's such a great game that I'm looking forward to venture into the OLD games, like Oblivion, Morrowind and even Daggerfall.

This is the best Skyrim edition with all DLC and features. It's a really extended game with a lot of optional quest. After a few hours your journal is filled with an enormous list of quest. Recommended specially to who never played the original version.

I absolutely love the game itself and I've always been an elder scrolls fan, one of the best in it's series. Bethesda did a really good job, my only complaint is the NPC don't seem like true individuals

Skyrim with extras

It's Skyrim. Which should be enough to say it's both worth a purchase, but obviously it's been resold far too many times. The prices here are pretty damn good for it so would recommend purchasing it here. The Anniversary Edition is just the Special Edition game, but it comes with ALL Content Club DLC. This has been a problem for modding for a while, but more modders are accepting it and adapting to it now. Even some 200gb mod collections rely on it, so it's a worthwhile purchase.

Bought this for a friend, not me, but they've already put thirty hours into it in a couple weeks so obviously it's fun.

This isn’t much of an upgrade if you have Special Edition, but worthwhile if your only copies are on Switch, PS3, 360, or vanilla on PC with mods. TES titles are something I find enjoyable, even though Skyrim might be my least favorite because of some streamlined mechanics, it’s still an Elder Scrolls game and full of things to do and places to explore. Performance is what you would expect from a game as old as it is. It doesn’t take a beast to run, so higher resolutions and settings are possible with a mid level setup. Playing on something powerful makes it a dream to play. If you know what Skyrim is, this review might not be the best critique to take into consideration, but, it’s one of the best RPGs ever.
