"Unless you never touched The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim when it was released, or you're a die-hard fan of the license who's in the throes of nostalgia, this special anniversary...

GamingTrend

"Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is full of lackluster additions to a fantastic game. Some new areas are blocked off, quests feel like busy work, and the new items aren’t all that...

GameStar

"Skyrim is still magnificent, but a collection of moderately executed additional content does not justify the new price for an old game."

One of my faves and runs great on Steamdeck

Some of the most fun I've had in a long time!! And this game is so girlypop I love it. Like, dont mind me, I'm just dressing up my werewolf fiancé in pretty armor and catching butterflies and picking flowers and collecting pretty ore and gems. And yea sure slay the occasional dragon for the souls. And murder some people completely invisible. Maybe become a werewolf myself. Honestly you can do whatever you want so long as no harm befalls the damned chickens. One of my easy favorite games of all time.

I wasn't sure if the Anniversary Edition was going to give me only the Anniversary Upgrade or both the main game and the upgrade, but I did indeed get both. So worth it for the price Also Skyrim is amazing, one of my favourite games which I've already put over 5000 hours on my xbox. Finally getting it on pc is a hype

Feels a little outdated but with mods it's pretty great (when they don't update and break your mods, anyways)

Bought this for a friend, not me, but they've already put thirty hours into it in a couple weeks so obviously it's fun.

This isn’t much of an upgrade if you have Special Edition, but worthwhile if your only copies are on Switch, PS3, 360, or vanilla on PC with mods. TES titles are something I find enjoyable, even though Skyrim might be my least favorite because of some streamlined mechanics, it’s still an Elder Scrolls game and full of things to do and places to explore. Performance is what you would expect from a game as old as it is. It doesn’t take a beast to run, so higher resolutions and settings are possible with a mid level setup. Playing on something powerful makes it a dream to play. If you know what Skyrim is, this review might not be the best critique to take into consideration, but, it’s one of the best RPGs ever.
