Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it.

The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.
On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.

The game of total war warhammer 3 is good. Whilst the single player story is amazing and some of the mechanics(the void rift) are very different from prior titles and some will say that's bad, i commend the creators for trying new things. The armies are dynamic, the combat excellent, the defense and siege changes awesome.

This game is great so far. I really like the way that the Total War series mixes real-time strategy and turn-based strategy. It takes the best of both game types and gives an experience that is enthralling. It is easy to get sucked into wanting to play just a little bit more! On top of that, the Warhammer universe has given this series more depth and creativity than it had with its historical entries. Definitely give it a shot!

Quite possibly the best, most varied RTS sandboxes of all time, wrapped in a solid 4x, with an absolutely monstrous art team behind it all. The Total Warhammer franchise has been an all-time great since halfway through Warhammer 1's life cycle, and it's only improved with time as more has been added. I can't possibly recommend it highly.
