Armageddon must not be lost
Are you up to the task of protecting your world from war hungry brutal Orks? Then suit up and jump into the hex-based, turn-based strategy Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon. With this Steam key, players will take the role of defending the planet as the Imperium of Man against the Ork invaders – battling through a gruelling and dangerous campaign with over 30 scenarios, as well as joined by three chapters of Space Marines: the Salamanders, Blood Angels and the Ultramarines.
BRUTAL FANTASY CONFLICT
Experience a complex plot, involving known characters from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Advance through the campaign with the ability to carry-over your core battle-hardened veterans from scenario to scenario.
Fight alongside Commissar Yarrick and Commander Dante against the cunning Ork Warboss Ghazghkull Thraka, using their experience in battle and giving your units the upper hand by upgrading their equipment. Choose from over 300 unit types representing Armageddon Steel Legion, the Orks, Blood Angels, Ultramarines and Salamanders Space Marine chapters and even Titans!
DETAILED BATTLEFIELDS
Guide your troops on Armageddon`s hostile ash wastes, through treacherous volcanic canyons, over acid polluted rivers, through dense jungles and through massive Hive cities. Alter your experience by experimenting with features including Fog of War, Undo Moves and more.
BATTLE ONLINE
Choose to play as either Orks or the Imperial forces in multiplayer, and play through a separate set of maps specifically designed and balanced for asynchronous multiplayer via Slitherine's PBEM++ system.

Fun tactical game. It's not the deepest (no logistics), but not every game needs to be extremely deep. It's not always obvious why battle results are what they are (terrain, morale, supporting fire, etc.). While there are predicted results, it's subject to RNG, which I don't consider a negative. The sprites don't always orient according to where they're shooting at.

Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon will appeal to fans of the 40K franchise as well as those fond of games such as Dune and Command & Conquer. You'll have access to a vast array of troops, scenarios and battles - and multiplayer online mode for when you want to take your battle tactics to the next level.
